Removal

Bio Sculpture gel is designed to be safely removed by a professional using an acetone-based conditioning formula that protects the natural nail throughout the process. Proper removal ensures that nails remain healthy, strong and undamaged, and to make this as easy as possible, removal is always included when booking a re-application.

 

Please avoid picking or attempting to remove the gel at home, as this is the single most common cause of nail damage and is very easily avoided.

Aftercare Advice

 

A little care at home goes a long way towards keeping Bio Sculpture nails looking their best for as long as possible. Regular use of a good cuticle oil will keep the nails supple, nourished and moisturised, and wearing gloves when washing up, using cleaning products or gardening will protect the gel from unnecessary exposure to harsh chemicals and water.

It is also worth washing hands thoroughly after applying sun cream, insect repellent or coloured hair products, as some of these contain ingredients that can cause discolouration, fading or lifting of the gel.

Cuticle removing creams, not to be confused with Bio Sculpture's own Cuticle Conditioning Cream, should be avoided entirely, as these will cause the gel to lift prematurely.
